Focal Points 2021-2024

The North Central Area Agency on Aging is very pleased to announce the completion of the 2021-2024 Focal Point designation process.  Focal Points are special and visible community partners so members of our local communities can find information and gain access to a full range of aging services.

Every three to four years NCAAA solicits the addition of new Focal Points throughout the region and engages in the recertification of our current Focal Points as part of our Area Plan process.

Designated Focal Point sites:

  1. become part of an information network;
  2. be given local and regional recognition and publicity;
  3. visibly demonstrate their contribution to the community.

Senior centers, social services departments, libraries, hospitals, and universities are some examples of organizations currently serving as Focal Points. We are always looking for new partners to help us broaden the availability of programs and services to our friends and neighbors.

We are very thankful for all of our Focal Point community partners as we work together to encourage one another in helping us continue to grow and strengthen the Elder Network in North Central CT.
