COMMUNITY CHOICES / AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER
A collaborative effort between the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and known nationally by its acronym ADRC, Aging & Disability Resource Centers are tasked with serving as highly visible and trusted places where people can turn for the full range of long term support services. ADRC’s serve as single entry points for services for older individuals and individuals with disabilities.
Officially opening on May 4, 2010, the North Central Aging and Disability Resource Center became the third of its kind in Connecticut. The NC/ADRC which includes NCAAA and our partners Independence Unlimited Inc., (IU) and CT Community Care Inc.
